what I have learned

33345462722_9589307fff_bIn this blog I will be talking about some podcasts I have been reading since the last time I posted a blog. Some podcasts I read were about different types of tires, engine upgrades, and after run maintenance.

One thing I learned from the first podcast is the different types of tires and what they are used for there are different types of tread patterns and different hardnesses  you chose these different variations for  whatever type of driving you will be doing. One thing I learned from the second video is that there are an insane amount of upgrades for the engine one of the probably more expensive one is nitrous kit this blast a cold shot of air into the engine and it makes it go faster instantly another way would be by just getting a new engine. One thing I learned from the last video is that you should always clean your vehicle after you run it every time and clean your air filter every hour even if it doesn’t look dirty.

In conclusion I learned many thing about tires, The engine, and after run maintenance. This interested me a lot because the tires I have on my car right now are destroyed and I want to get better ones. The one about engines interested me because my car is already fast but I want to make it faster, and the one about maintenance interested me because I want to learn how to clean my car really good.

Drift and boats

RC_Drift_body_Toyota_Chaser_JZX100_by_YakuzzzaI, will be talking about different RC vehicles in this blog. I didn’t know there was even this types of vehicles available. What are some vehicles that you would be interested in buying?

11843377175_5ef4b7ff4d_bThere’s many types of nitro cars, trucks, buggies, and rock crawlers, But there are many other types of RC cars, airplanes, and boats. Some run off of gas.Others, run off of batteries. The ones that run on gas can get very expensive, there are some that are more than one thousand dollars. Also, there are many  electric ones, they make drifting cars, short course trucks, monster trucks, and rock crawlers being a little more common.  Also, most electric vehicles are completely waterproof, meaning if you accidentally drove it under water you will be completely fine. The last type of RC vehicle would be the boats. I have had no experience with these types of RC cars.

One thing I do know is that they are very fast. The drift cars  interest me the most i would like to own one some day in the near future. What other types of RC’s do you have experience with?   model-boat-244863_960_720

Rc Car

Courtney_Force_PomonaIn this blog, I will be talking about one of the first RC car ever made. Older generation RC cars were very slow and difficult to control. What is some history on RC cars?

Nitro RC cars are faster now than they have ever been before and,Their parts are also made with higher grade materials. One of the first RC cars was made in 1966, an Italian company Elettronica Giocattoli, produced the first remote-controlled car a Ferrari 250LM. They followed it up with a Ferrari P4 two years later. By the 1970s, British companies like Mardave produced its own nitro, or gas-powered RC cars. Ever since then they have just been getting faster and stronger.

So this is some history that I know about RC cars.i was very surprised that the first RC car was a Ferrari. Do you remember your first RC car?rc-car-2478328_960_720

Upgrades and stuff

33345462722_9589307fff_bIn this blog, I will be talking about upgrading, and how to maintenance RC cars.upgrading your RC cars will improve your car in different ways and sometime, it will give you HP gains. How do you upgrade and maintain RC cars?

There’s many ways of upgrading RC cars, one way is by buying new  tires with a lot of traction, they sell all kinds of tires, off road on road and hybrid tires, also there’s a different hardness of each type soft medium and hard. Other ways of upgrading for faster times and more power is by getting a new exhaust or intake, they also sell superchargers for some engines and nitrous kits, the biggest way of getting more power or faster times is by getting a completely new engine. There is a few maintenance steps, which are very easy, step one charge glow igniter, step two cleaning the air filter, step 3 spraying WD-40 in carburetor hole and air filter hole, and step fourth step  is just cleaning it up from dust mud or small rocks.

So this is the way I maintain my car and upgrade it. But there is many other ways of doing it.what are some ways you upgrade your RC cars?rc-car-2273204_960_720

Stuff

TRX33In this blog, I will be talking about What are some things you like/dislike about the hobby? There is a lot of common problems so maybe something that bother you might just be a fixable issue. So here are some thing I like/dislike.

What I really like about RC cars is they are just like real cars. You can upgrade everything on an RC cars from new engines to new screws for the skid plate. Also, another thing I like about them since it has a nitro engine you can hear the engine when you’re using it. One thing I dislike about nitro RC cars is that tuning them is very difficult for a beginner such as myself, but with help from a couple YouTube videos you start to get the hang of it, another thing I don’t like about RC cars is that since they are so small parts break easy, for example, driving them of your roof like I did it might bend a shock or two, so it can get very costly.

So these are some things I like/dislike about the hobby, what are somethings you like/dislike?rc-car-2273204_960_720

Expensive, but Worth Every Penny

X-Maxx_with_E-MaxxDo you want to drive over the speed limit legally? Here’s how I do it, with an RC car. There are some RC cars that go faster than 65 MPH right out the box.

The way I got into RC cars was when I was watching YouTube videos one day and a RC car video was recommended. Ever since then I just kept watching more videos on RC cars and I just got hooked. After that I asked my parents to buy me one but there was no way they were buying me a 400$ RC car. So, I had to start saving up for about a month and I bought my first nitro RC car. and ever since that first time I started it up and broke it in I just fell in love with it.

So that is how I was first introduced into the RC hobby. It can get expensive but it is worth every penny. How did you get into the hobby?RC_Cars_@_RC_Club_Euregio_Enschede_(9478138804)
